MUMBAI : Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2 is one of the most anticipated shows of the year, and the countdown to Ekta Kapoor and Balaji Telefilms’ reboot has begun. The grand promotional campaign to promote the new heartthrobs of the TV world, the characters of Anurag and Prerna, has created more enthusiasm amongst TV audiences.
The love saga is coming back with a more contemporary look and will have Erica Fernandes and Parth Samthaan essaying the role of Prerna and Anurag respectively. The actors just returned from a long shoot in Kolkata. But the mystery around who will be playing Komolika in the serial remains. Ekta shared a post about the same and confused the audience about who will be playing this famous negative character.
There were many names doing the rounds, but if reports are to be believed, Hina Khan has been confirmed to play the role. Ekta is personally overseeing Hina's wardrobe for the show and we saw how sexy cholis will be an integral part of the look.
As per reports, Hina aka the present Komolika will be revealed at the Star Parivaar Awards 2018, which will be held soon. As we know, the event is attended by all the top stars. As per sources, Hina will get a grand welcome on the stage.
Ekta recently informed the media that the revelation of Komolika will be made here by the channel. Hina has had a long association with Star Plus with her character of Akshara from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. When she quit the show, there were rumours that she and the channel had a tiff, but it seems that the matter is resolved now.
Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 will air from 25 September.
