&TV's upcoming fantasy drama, Vikram Betaal ki Rahasya Gaatha, has been creating a lot of buzz since its announcement. Reports said that actress Chhavi Pandey might play the role of Rani Padmini in the show, but according to recent reports, Peshwa Bajirao fame Ishita Ganguly has been roped in to play the part. Apparently, Chhavi was being considered for the role but things didn't work out and now Ishita will step in the character of Rani Padmini.
Deepshikha Nagpal on a lookout for love
Deepshikha Nagpal, who is famously known for her negative roles in TV shows like Son Pari, Baal Veer and Ek tha Raja Ek thi Rani, is all set to play yet another negative role but this time on the big screen. Deepshikha will be next seen in Chitragrahi production Hansa-Ek Sanyog, which is produced by Suresh Sharma and directed by Dheeraj Varma and Santosh Kashyap. The movie is based on the life of the third gender community (Kinnars).
“I signed up for this film because I feel a type of connection to the Kinnars whenever I see them on the roads or at the signals. They have always been sweet to me and always keep on blessing me whenever I meet them,” said Deepshikha.
“When the film came to me I wanted to do it for them, I feel movies are the best way to reach out to a large number of people at one time; and when I got the chance I decided to go ahead.”
“I am playing the character of a very glamorous wife and the dresses and sarees have all been designed especially for my character. The overall experience of working in this film was very good. I hope the message that we are trying to send out reaches the public,” added the actress.
Neha Kakkar receives the biggest compliment from Govinda on Indian Idol 10
Recently, superstar Govinda made a special appearance on the sets of Indian Idol 10. And Neha Kakkar, a Govinda fan, who sits on the judge’s seat, couldn’t contain her excitement. She even danced with her dancing idol on the stage of Indian Idol! Neha was on cloud nine when she got the best compliment from the star himself.
Govinda came up to Neha and told her, “You are a very good singer and a nice human being. I see Govinda in you.”
