This season of Bigg Boss is not doing as well as the previous one. So the makers decided to bring in two new wild card entries to spice things up.
One of them is Rohit Suchanti. As soon as he entered the show, the contestants like Sreesanth, Karanvir Bohra, and Shivashish Mishra began to make comments on his sexuality.
Karanvir and Shivashish remarked that ‘he swings both ways’, and Sreesanth said that he is acts like a pansy in front of Dipika Kakar, who also didn't stop him and even laughed at the comment. Surbhi Rana said that he is a ‘beautiful boy’. These remarks are offensive and unacceptable, especially at a time when steps are being taken to normalize gay relationships in India.
Viewers are appalled to see the comments coming from responsible people like Karanvir, Dipika and Sreesanth, who have a massive fan following. One of the disappointed viewers is Karanvir's wife Teejay Sidhu, who has lashed out at her husband and others who made fun of Rohit's sexuality.
Although Karanvir didn’t explicitly say anything, he made gestures suggesting that Rohit is bisexual and that this is the reason Romil is with him. Teejay has not liked this one bit and is extremely disappointed with him. She took to Twitter to slam Karanvir, Sreesanth, Shivashish, Surbhi, and Dipika.
We applaud Teejay for this. One would have expected her to either keep mum or side with her husband, but she has set a perfect example by calling out Karanvir and others.
