Kamal Haasan to quit films after Shankar's Indian 2?

Kamal Haasan

MUMBAI: Kamal Haasan starrer Indian 2 is a sequel to the 1996 film with the same title. The movie will go on floors on December 14th in Hyderabad. It will be directed by Shankar, and Kajal Agarwal will be the leading lady of the movie.

It seems that the makers have built huge sets at a studio in Hyderabad for Indian 2, which will have a village theme to it. The pre-production work is underway. Kamal Haasan, while attending an event in Kochi, said that this will be his last film and that he will quit acting after wrapping it up. He said that he wants to focus on his political career after Indian 2.

Makkal Needhi Maiam will field candidates in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from Tamil Nadu. The biggest question that arises is that Kamal Haasan has recently announced that he will be doing a sequel to the super-hit film Thevar Magan. And with this announcement, it looks like Thevar Magan 2 will be shelved and fans might not witness him playing the village head in it.

Well, this news has shocked and disappointed his fans. Kamal has recently shifted his focus from films to politics after launching his own political party Makkal Needhi Maiam.
