First official poster of Srijit Mukherji’s Shah Jahan Regency released
The first official poster of Srijit Mukherji’s much-anticipated Bengali film Shah Jahan Regency has been released. The poster features the ensemble cast of the film. Produced under the banner of SVF, Shah Jahan Regency is a modern-day adaptation of Shankar’s iconic novel Chowringhee. It stars ace actors like Abir Chatterjee, Parambrata Chatterjee, Anjan Dutt, Rituparna Sengupta, and Swastika Mukherjee. The film will hit the theatres on 18th January 2019.

Parambrata Chatterjee’s adorable photo with this little one
Tollywood actor–director Parambrata Chatterjee is a part of many upcoming Bengali films including Shah Jahan Regency and Sagardiper Jwaker Dhan. The Kahaani and Pari fame actor is also a part of Seema Pahwa’s directorial debut Pind Daan.
Today, the actor took to his social media handle and posted an adorable photo with a kid actor from the sets of Pind Daan, and captioned it, ‘My own head at that age was exactly like this little Hendricks’/Dylan’s! He’s an actor on the set today! #PindDaan @DrishyamFilms #curlsarecool.’

Hiran Chatterjee turns a year older; happy to receive wish from CM
Hiran Chatterjee, who has acted in films like Jio Pagla and Nabab Nandini, turns a year older today (19th December), and he is super happy to receive birthday wishes from the Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee. He took to his social media handle to share a glimpse of the letter and wrote a message for the CM, ‘Though am shooting in Thailand now but getting your wishes, blessings and affections on the special day is always blissful to me, thanks and respect to you always.’

Mimi Chakraborty completes dubbing for her next
Popular for films like Crisscross, Posto, and Bangali Babu English Mem, actress Mimi Chakraborty has completed the dubbing for her upcoming film. Recently, she shared a still from the film on social media and wrote, ‘Yet another beautiful journey ends today as i complete my dubbing see u all during promotions @Yash_Dasgupta @svf #Shaufguptarafiq.’
Although she hasn’t mentioned the name of the film, going by her post, it seems she is talking about Taxi Driver. Backed by SVF, Shagufta Rafique's directorial debut Taxi Driver stars Mimi and Yash Dasgupta, who were previously seen in Birsa Dasgupta’s Gangster.
