Don't Worry Chachu to go off air; Sajan Re...under the scanner

Optimystix might be busy with its upcoming project Zindagi Kahe Smile Please which is scheduled to go on air soon on Life OK (Star One’s new name after its revamp). However, as we know, the business of TV is not as smooth as a child’s cheek. At one side, the production house might be glad about its new show, but on the other hand, all is not well with its two ongoing shows on SAB TV, namely Sajan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo and Don’t Worry Chachu. A source told Tellychakkar.com, that both the shows have failed to garner decent numbers on the TRP chart. The latest news that we gather is that the channel has finally decided to pull Don’t Worry Chachu off air from 6 January 2012. However, Sajan Re…still has some more time to try its luck with its viewers, as the channel is yet to decide its fate. It will monitor the show’s progress till January, and if it still lingers on the TRP ladder, then it will also have to bid adieu to its fans. The source further went on to say that SAB TV has already sent a notice to Optimystix regarding the development. Tellychakkar.com spoke to Anooj Kapoor, Executive Vice President and Business Head, SAB TV and he went on to confirm and say, “Yes, Don’t Worry Chachu is going off-air. However, we are still monitoring the progress of Sajan Re…” Hmm, bad news for the fans of these two shows. Anyways, we hope that Optimystix’s new show will certainly be a hit among the masses!!!
