MUMBAI: Vivian Dsena is like wine in a classy bottle and is only getting better with age. The actor has completed 11 glorious years in the television industry. From making his debut in Kasamh Se to playing the lead roles in shows namely Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani, Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, and Shakti — Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, Vivian has come a long way.
Along with being a great actor, Vivian is a football player and has participated in reality shows like Jhalak Dikhla Jaa and Khatron Ke Khiladi. He is one of the actors who have received immense popularity for all his characters. He has only witnessed upswings in his career.
On completing 11 years in the industry, Vivian spoke to TellyChakkar about his journey, people he would like to thank, and his plan to action for the coming years.
He shared, ‘So far, the journey has been memorable, and I am very happy with my career graph. No doubt, the journey has been full of ups and downs, but I have no regrets in life. I am lucky and fortunate that all my shows have done well and that fans have always showered their love on me. I can be lucky once or twice but not all the time. One has to prove their ability.’
He continued, ‘One rule that I follow is that never compete with someone, but try to keep updating yourself. Work on your strength and weakness. Even after being part of Shakti for three years, I try to add some edge to my character of Harman. I never thought that I would achieve so much in life. I am very thankful to Ram Kapoor, who helped and guided me in my first show Kasamh Se, and Ekta Kapoor and Colors for giving me the opportunity.’
When we asked him about his most memorable moment, he shared, ‘When I won the Critics Award for the Best Actor. Winning that award gave me a boost and pushed to work harder.’
Finally, talking about his plan of action for the coming years, he said, ‘Do my best and be the person I am.’
