MUMBAI: Zee TV’s popular drama Kumkum Bhayga (Balaji Telefilms) has been in news these days for introducing a generation leap of around 20 years.
TellyChakkar recently wrote about actor Vin Rana, who plays the role of Purab, likely to not be seen post the leap (read here: Vin Rana aka Purab to QUIT Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya?).
TellyChakkar has now learned how the leap will be introduced in the show.
We have heard that finally, Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia) and Pragya (Sriti Jha) get married. The show will take a small leap of three months. Subsequently, it will be shown that Pragya is expecting twin babies with Abhi. And later, the show will head for a major leap. Pragya and Abhi’s twin daughters will be shown as grown-up.
The casting for the characters has already begun.
The creatives are still working on whether Kiara will be featured as a grown-up girl after the leap.
