MUMBAI: It seems that a rally of actors are set to bid adieu to Zee TV’s popular show Kumkum Bhagya (Balaji Telefilms).
TellyChakkar had exclusively reported about Vin Rana aka Purab having mostly decided to move out from the show before it heads for a 20-year leap.
Along with Vin, we have heard that other actors have apparently taken the decision of discontinuing their journey with the show. They are Ruchi Savarn, Leena Jumani, Shikha Singh, and Mishal Raheja. Except for lead actors Shabbir Ahluwalia and Sriti Jha, almost the entire cast will bid adieu to the show.
The reason for not being a part of the show post the leap is that they don’t wish to play ageing roles.
When we contacted Leena, she confirmed the news and shared, 'Yes, I am quitting the show, as I am not comfortable playing an ageing role.'
We also tried reaching out to the other actors, but they remained unavailable for comment.
For the uninitiated, Kumkum Bhagya is set to begin a new journey after a 20-year leap and will introduce viewers to the next generation of the Mehras: Abhi and Pragya’s twin daughters
