Alan Kapoor opted out of Niyati over compensation issues

When Tellychakkar.com called up Alan Kapoor to wish him a very Happy New Year he sounded a little flustered. We wondered why? And then Alan went on to say that he will no longer be seen as Ambar in Sahara One’s Niyati. Yes, he has decided to move on and it was reported in the media that Sachin Shroff has replaced him. “I made my debut in the world of Indian television with this show. I was not too happy with certain things, so finally after an association of thirteen months I decided to throw in the towel,” says Alan. Well, to be precise, the actor had compensation issues with the makers (Dheeraj Kumar’s Creative Eye). “I was working 12 hours a day for 30 days a month. At the end, I had no time left for my personal life and on top of that, the remuneration was also not great. I did talk to the production house about it but when they did not get back or come to any mutual decision, I had no choice but to walk out of the door,” informs Alan. Alan had a 12-month contract with Creative Eye and after it got over he waited for another one month in hope that his grievances will be taken care of. But sadly, things did not shape up the way he wished. “I am a bit sad, but it was wonderful working with Dheeraj ji. I have learnt a lot from the show which will help me become a better actor,” ends Alan on a positive note. Well Alan, have a great year ahead!!!
