Money. That's what drives everyone in the final analysis, whether in the glamour world of acting or the hard grind of scripting and producing. Cashin' In sits down with TV celebs to know well they handle their financial matters, and tracks their spending patterns.
The bad boy of the Balaji camp, Manoj Bohra, believes that he is made for acting and can't think of taking up any other profession. While he is cautious, keeping his money in the bank and investing in insurance and mutual funds, like any other TV star, he loves spending his hard earned money on clothes. Riya V Anandwala spoke to Bohra to get more insights about how he deals with his money!
"My girlfriend too looks after my finances"

My investments are mostly in banks, where most of the people put their money in, and I also invest in mutual funds.

My mother, father and my girlfriend (laughs).

No, not blindly though but yes I have a kind of trust on him. I do keep a track of the companies and markets, but can't be totally into it.

Well, thats my next step, and will happen very soon!

No, not at all. I always think and buy.
So approximately how much do you end up spending on yourself, by the end of the month?

What's your take on insurance policies?
Yes, of course I am very particular about them!
Who will be the beneficiary of you insurance?
My mom!
"I am quite careful with my money!"
Do you own a car? Is it on loan?
Yes, I have a Santro and it's not on loan
How are you by nature, when it comes to your finances?
Well, I am quite careful that way! I am not stingy though.
Which is most expensive trip you have spent for till date?
Well, once we went to Maldives for a holiday... and the spend bug bit me and we shopped a lot. So I guess that was the most expensive trip ever!
