Ram Kapoor who plays a stern businessman on screen, is actually clueless about investments and other money matters off screen! Riya V Anandwala talks to Ram and finds out his knowledge when it comes to money matters! " I am a duffer in money matters!" How do you handle your money? Trust me, I am a duffer in this case. I can't handle my own money for nuts. So who does the needful for you? My wife. The moment I get my cheque, I give it to her, and she looks after everything. Not only that, I ask her for my daily allowance too, whether its Rs.2000 or Rs.4000. Do you keep a track on where your money is goin? No, not at all. I trust my wife a lot, and she handles it all very well. What about investing in properties? Well, I have appointed a company which invests my money in various things. Do you blow up loads of money on yourself? Not really, as I am not really brand conscious. But, yes, if I like something, I will not think twice before buying it. So how much do you spend on yourself in a month? Well, I have really never thought about this! I am really bad at this. There is no definite amount that I revolve around. " I am totaly gadget freak, like any other guy!" Do you own cars? Are they on loan? Yes, I own three cars - Honda Accord, Tata Safari and Scorpio. And, all three vehicles are on loan. Do you believe in the loan system? Certainly! Loans are very important for people you aspire to buy a house and other essential things. Without loans, how will the lower middle class survive? How do you go about paying your tax? We make it a point to save some amount every month. It becomes easier in the final accounting of our finances. Making trips around, is that on your list of expenditures? Well, I hardly have any time to go on trips! What about gadgets? Oh, I spend loads and loads on gadgets! I have five to six Nokia cell phones, a computer of course, I can't do without my I Pod. And yes, like any other boy, I am totally into gaming. I have play stations and many other sorts of video games! At the end of the day, how will you describe yourself, a man who depends on his family or a self-made man? Well, as I am working, I will term myself as a self-made man, but not completely though! I use my family money also, the house in which I live in, belongs to my family.
