Karan Johar's Takht to go on the floors in THIS month in 2020

MUMBAI: Karan Johar's magnum opus Takht is one of the much-anticipated upcoming films. It will see actors like Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor. Here’s an update for all those who are eagerly waiting for this film.

According to a report in the Mumbai Mirror, the filmmaker is all set to don his director hat now as the shooting of Takht will kick-start in February 2020. Not just this, it is reported Karan is pulling out all the stops so that he doesn’t go wrong with Takht, unlike Kalank. Therefore, the filmmaker will be hosting acting workshops for the cast with diction and body languages so that they can get into the skin of their characters.  "The film kicks off in February with a start-to-finish schedule. Being a period film, the technical team is presently focused on the sets and locations and the script while also deciding on the diction and mannerisms of the characters. Work on the visual effects will take place simultaneously with the shoot so the film is ready on time,” a source was quoted saying.
