Divya Drishti to get an extension?

MUMBAI: TellyChakkar is back with an interesting update from the television industry.

Star Plus’ Divya Drishti, produced by Fireworks Production and Mukhta Dhond, was supposed to go off-air soon, but fans of the show can breathe a sigh of relief now. A source close to the project revealed that the channel and makers have decided to give the show an extension, as the TRPs have increased.

If the source is to be believed, the show can safely run until December.

It was also reported that Shoonya Squares’ Namah will take the time slot of the show.

Divya Drishti is about two sisters who have supernatural powers.

The lead pair of the show, Sana Sayyad and Adhvik Mahajan, who plays the characters of Drishti and Rakshit respectively, enjoy a great fan following for their sizzling chemistry and realistic acting.

We couldn’t connect with the production and actors for their comment.

Meanwhile, Star Plus has an array of exciting shows for the audience currently. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is topping the TRP charts with its gripping storyline. Newly launched Sanjivani 2 is also receiving a good response from viewers. Kasautii Zindagii Kay and Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum are among the most watched shows on the channel.
