MUMBAI: The medical drama, Dill Mill Gayye, was immensely popular among the viewers. A sequel to the Star Plus series Sanjivani - A Medical Boon, the show revolved around a hospital but focused more on the romantic love story of the new generation of medical interns. The show featuring Karan Singh Grover, Shilpa Anand, Jennifer Winget aired on Star One between 2007 to 2010 and was loved by the viewers. 

The show went on air 12 years ago, on 20th August 2007 and had a successful run for two years. According to a report in India Forums, many popular artists were a part of the show. As the show marks its entry into the 13th year, take a look at the actors who you didn’t know were part of the medical drama.

Barun Sobti 

Barun Sobti, who is known for shows like Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, Baat Hamari Pakki Hai and The Great Indian Dysfunctional Family, played a cameo as Dr. Raj Singh in the second season.

Shakti Arora 

Shakti Arora, who is best known for his role in Silsila Badalte Rishton, was also a part of the show. He played a patient named Sumit in season one who fell in love with Dr. Ridhima.

Jannat Zubair Rahmani

Young actress Jannat Zubair Rahmani made an appearance in season two. She too played a patient in the show.

Roopal Tyagi

Roopal Tyagi, who is known for playing Gunjan in the popular Zee TV show Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke and also participated in dance reality shows Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8 and Bigg Boss 9, played a character named Bubbly.

Swini Khara 

Swini Khara, who is known for her role in Cheeni Kum and Baa Bahoo Aur Baby, played a patient in season one.
