MUMBAI: The Kapil Sharma Show is one of the most watched television shows. The comedy TV series has been successfully entertaining audience since it premiered. The show never fails to tickle the funny bone of viewers. With its hilarious episodes, it leaves everyone in splits.
Undoubtedly, Kapil Sharma and his team are doing a wonderful job of making people laugh. Earlier, the Kapil Sharma Show had Sunil Grover as an important character, Gutthi, and viewers used to love him. However, due to certain differences Sunil quit the show. In the new season that started airing from December 2018, Krushna Abhishek was introduced who is now also known as Sapna. His character Sapna has become a major highlight of the new season. In a recent interview with Times Now, Krushna was quizzed about any comparisons between Sunil Grover’s Gutthi and his character Sapna. Krushna stated that many people have told him that his character Sapna has managed to make people forget about Sunil’s character. Krushna also praised Sunil and mentioned that his style was unique. But he added that there was no comparison between Sapna and Gutthi.
He said, “You won't believe it but no one has compared Sapna to Guthi till date. In fact, people tell me that jabse tum Aaye ho hum Sunil ko bhul chuke hai. I have received this compliment several times. Sunil is a very good actor. I grade him as a very good actor. He has his own style. I have my own style. Akshay Kumar does a different kind of comedy, Govinda does a different kind of comedy but both are great in their own spaces. I believe that Sunil has a different style and his character doesn't match with Sapna at all. No one talks about him on the show, too. Initially people did, but then we took over.”
