How important is money for you?
Money is the second most important thing in my life. The foremost important thing to do is good work, money follows. I always believe that one should take care of their needs and wants will be taken care of.
Are you an impulsive buyer?
It depends on the situation. If I have money I buy things on impulse and when I don’t have money I don’t even think of buying anything. In some situations, Rs.500 is a big amount and sometimes even Rs. 5,000 is a small amount.
What are the investments you have made?
I haven’t earned a lot of money to make investments except for a basic insurance policy. I am trying to make an investment.
What is your most expensive purchase?
It is my car Skoda that I bought last year for thirteen lakhs but I bought it on EMI.
Do you feel financially secure?
Yes I do. I don’t feel like a king but I don’t even feel like a beggar.
Who handles your expenses?
My father handles all my expenses. My job is to earn and handling my money is his department.
What was your first salary? What you did with it?
Technically my first salary was Rs.190 for NCC when I was in the eighth grade. Professionally, I earned my first salary by acting in Mamta. I think I used to get Rs. 6,000 a day and I used that money for my house rent and daily expenses.
How much money do you carry every day?
I hardly carry money with me. The debit and credit cards take care of the expenses. There are times when change is needed and I don’t even have fifteen bucks with me.
Do you invest in the stock market?
No and I would never do that even in the future because I don’t like any kind of gambling.
Any advice for investors?
It is difficult to make money so be careful when you invest. I feel that your deserved money comes back to you no matter how much you lose.
