MUMBAI: One of the much-awaited films, Housefull 4, is all set to hit the screens on 26 October this Diwali. Directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the film is the fourth installment of Housefull franchise. A reincarnation comedy film, it stars an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde and Kriti Kharbanda.
The film had earlier been directed by Sajid Khan, but he was soon replaced by Farhad Samji after he was accused of sexual harassment. Now, ahead of the film’s release, Bobby Deol has addressed the #MeToo movement and spoke at length about how this stand taken by the public has helped a lot of people. The actor told PTI that he does not know anyone’s personal life but if things come out and are proved, it should be dealt with in the right way. “And this works for both men and women because in the world we live, there a lot of stories about women troubling men which do not come out and vice-versa,” he added. Speaking about the #MeToo allegations on Sajid Khan and how it affected Housefull 4, Bobby said, "Only one-day shooting got delayed and the decision was made by the studios and Sajid Nadiadwala."
