Sheetal Maulik feels blessed to be a part of Gutur Gu

Sheetal Maulik
Beautiful actress Sheetal Maulik has all the reasons to grin from ear to ear. Firstly her show, Gutur Gu aired on SAB TV, which also happens to be India’s first silent comedy, is doing really well (it celebrated the completion of 100 episodes recently). Apart from that, her first Marathi movie, Koni Mulgi Deta Ka Mulgi, is going places. It has already released in Satara, Sangli and Kolhapur; and on 2 March 2012, it was released in Pune. As Tellychakkar.com had earlier reported, Sheetal plays a double role in the movie. Talking about her famous sitcom, the TV actress feels blessed to be a part of the show. “We all are like one big family. We share our joys and sorrows with each other,” Sheetal says of the cast and crew of Gutur Gu. She adds that she shares a special bond with everyone: “All of us are really close and I feel blessed to be associated with this show.” While Sheetal is also happy to be part of Koni Mulgi Deta Ka Mulgi, nothing beats the happiness of her family: “Right from the time I have entered the entertainment industry; my family has always wanted me to do something in Marathi, since that is my mother language.” And now that the beautiful actress is a Marathi movie star now, it got even better. “They (family) wanted me to do a Marathi serial but having bagged a movie in the language was something none of us could even think of,” beams Sheetal. In fact, she also tells us that she would love to do more movies in Marathi. “This is the first time that I am seen in a serious role. Prior to this, I have been associated with comedy only. And I wanted to do something serious. Thanks to my movie, I have done that too,” she reveals another reason that is keeping her immensely happy. Tellychakkar.com hopes that Sheetal’s happiness remains intact.
