First look of Vicky Donor, starring Ayushman and Yami, unveiled

John Abraham set the box office ticking with his superb performance in Force. The movie hiked his credibility as a performer and sealed his place amongst the top rated actors of this country. Now, the beefy and handsome hunk is all set to don the mantle of a producer. What are we talking about? Well, he has turned a producer (JA Entertainment) with Vicky Donor. The movie is produced in association with Eros International and its first look was unveiled at a suburban multiplex on 7 March 2012 in the presence of producer John Abraham, Eros MD Sunil Lulla, director Shoojit Sircar and the film’s cast. And guess what? Apna very own VJ Ayushman Khurana and actor Yami Gautam are part of this light-hearted flick which reflects taboo attached to infertility and artificial insemination. Ayushman will be seen as a Punjabi cricket player-cum-sperm donor in love with a Bengali girl. The Bengali girl will be played, of course, by Yami Gautam. Commenting on the launch, Sunil Lulla, Managing Director, Eros International Media Ltd said, “We are very happy to associate with John for his maiden production venture. With Vicky Donor, one can expect the unusual and out of the box cinema. It is a light, enjoyable film and we are sure audiences are in for a pleasant surprise.” Furthermore, John Abraham shared, “I am excited about making a foray into producing films and glad to have Eros on board as co-producers. Also, with Eros’ global marketing and distribution infrastructure, we hope to present this breakthrough commercial cinema to audiences worldwide”. The movie will release on 20 April 2012.
