Big CBS Love channel’s popular show India’s Glam Diva has finally found its worthy winner in the form of Bollywood superstar Priyanka Chopra. The finale will be aired on 25 March at 9pm. The best part about the show is that the audiences of Big CBS chose the winner amongst 14 highly-talented women across different spheres. Priyanka was crowned the “glam diva” last night (20 March 2012) by a female CBS watcher at a function in a suburban five-star hotel in Mumbai. Later talking to the media, she said, “It is extremely flattering to be given this award for it is not only about the way I look or how popular my films are, but it also about mind, body and soul – the complete woman as they say.” This is Priyanka’s third crown, earlier she had won Miss India and Miss World titles as well. “This time I am excited but more composed,” she shared. To the question, if she had to give the “glam diva” award to anyone in Bollywood who would she choose, she smartly answered, “Madhuri Dixit for she is the most perfect glam diva in our industry.” Another question was since the channel is also called CBS Love, what is her definition of love? “It is a complex emotion, nobody knows what it really means, but if you ask me, I will say love should be expressed freely and openly.” So what is your relationship status? “I am single,” she smiled. She further dismissed the accusation that the expressions pageant winners make are all nakhras, “They are genuine emotions which every winner goes through.” The lovely lady also faced the most regular question of cosmetic surgery, which she defended with deft easy stating, “Although, I don’t believe in the same we should not be judgmental about it. To each his own. Cosmetic surgery is okay if your confidence level increases with some change. It is wrong when your life depends on it and you start believing that the surgeon’s knife makes you a better looking person then what God has designed for you.” When asked how does it feel to race ahead and win the crown when she was spitted against challengers like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor, she replied, “All these woman are glam divas in their respective ways. But yes, when it comes to a competition I aim to win, I can’t stand failure,” ends she. Priyanka ‘jungli billi’ Chopra is truly a diva. Congrats on winning the title!!!
