MUMBAI: Karan is staring into Preeta's eyes, Sarla is looking at Dadi then gets an awful feeling when she finally sees Karan she starts to cry, at which Karan turns his face, she takes Preetas hand and signals her to follow her, she then takes her away into the house. Bi jee is very worried asking why they came so early, Sarla asks them to wait as she will come really soon, Shrishti wonders how can Sarla take on Karina and Karan when it was they who have booked the hall after deceiving them all.
Meanwhile Karan pretends to be happy for the Mehendi function. But he leaves the dance suddenly. In the next moment, Sarla enters the hall. She notices all the Luthras dancing on the beats. She gets very furious and asks them to stop the music. She asks them to leave the hall but Karina takes Sarla aside. She reveals that they have made a legal contract by their lawyer for the booking which shocks Sarla. Karina asks Sarla to serve them as they serve to their other customers. But Sarla refuses to do so but Karina is also stubborn in making Sarla serve her like servants. Sarla goes back home. She reveals that Luthras booked the hall with cheating. She takes the cash to throw it on Luthras to get them out of the hall. Meanwhile, Karina tells Ramona about the incidence that happened in the mall and reason behind booking down the market hall.
Sarla by then comes up with the cash. Karina tells her that she has booked the hall with double money. She also asks Sherlyn to check where Rakhee and Mahira are. Ramona finds that the cash given by Sarla is short. Sarla tells them that the rest of the money is spent on the decoration. Karina asks Sarla to return her the entire money immediately. Sarla tells her that she will return the money next day. Karina reminds her of the contract Sarla had signed in the morning. Karina explains that the contract is non-cancellable. Sarla gets very furious. She threatens to sue Karina. Karina, in turn, threatens her to close her hall forever. Shrishty defends Sarla. Then Sarla tells Karina to continue with the function but refuses to serve them. Karan overhears the same. He wants Preeta (Shraddha Arya) to be present there. Sarla comes back home. She gets disappointed as Luthras cheated on them. Shrishty also shares that they cannot cancel the booking as per the legal contract which shocks everyone.
Preeta sits next to her and asks her to let them do the function and then leave. Sarla says that they get affected by what Luthras do and blames herself for taking the booking without seeing the client just for the money in order to buy some happiness for her daughters. Preeta says that their biggest happiness is in their togetherness only. Sarla says that none of them will go in the hall to serve the Luthra. She asks Preeta if she is in pain.
Preeta replies that she doesn’t care about what Karan does. Sarla warns everybody not to go in the hall, especially Srishti, and then goes into her room followed by Bee Ji. The latter tries to calm Sarla down since she is crying and asks her not to lose her courage.
Sarla says that she is tired to keep fighting and even after she keeps trying to get happiness for her daughters, she fails every time. She cries and says that she can understand Preeta’s pain by seeing in her eyes even if she doesn’t say any word. She bashes Karan for betraying Preeta every time and giving her pain continuously.
She remembers how they struggled to make the Kumkum Bhagya hall and how they dreamed for her daughters to get married there and be happy. She never expected the hall to be the reason for her daughter’s pain and not being able to do anything. Bee Ji tries to calm her down and says they cannot fight with destiny that’s why they have to suffer. She asks her not to cry in front of Preeta who won’t be able to see her mother in pain. Sarla hugs her and cries.
