Veteran Arif Zakaria is known for his versatility in acting. Be it his role as Emmi Begum in Darmiyan or the ghost that haunts in Haunted, he has proved his mettle in each and every character. He has dedicated himself as a performer and has showcased his talent across mediums, be it television, films or theater.
Now, he is all set to do a cameo in Sony Entertainment Television’s Adaalat (produced by Contiloe Telefilms). He will be seen as a renowned neuro-surgeon who will be practicing Cannibalism – the act of humans eating the flesh of other human beings. His next victim will be Ronit Roy (KD) and he will try to eat his flesh. Ronit will fight a case against Arif and finally emerge as the winner sending the latter to a mental asylum.
“I am playing a neuro surgeon. It is a different role that I was looking for and it’s an episodic of 45 minutes. My character is of an eccentric man, who does bizarre and weird acts,” confirmed Arif.
This particular sequence will telecast on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 8:00 pm.
Furthermore, he also shared with Tellychakkar.com that he is not too keen on doing daily soaps as he finds them to be “monotonous”.
“It is boring and it’s like handling two marriages (laughs). It’s not that I will never do a daily soap but not now, may be in the future.”
Arif also shared that television has become more hectic now and it’s not that “chilled out” anymore.
“Rest all is cool. It is great medium to connect with the masses,” he ended.
