MUMBAI: The tabloids and entertainment portals were buzzing with reports on Tuesday morning that Varun Dhawan will be starring in the next directorial of his brother Rohit Dhawan.
They also mentioned that a sequel to Rohit’s 2016 action-adventure starring Varun with John Abraham will be their next collaboration, that is, Dishoom 2.
Rumours on the Dishoom sequel, however, are shut down by Varun, who clearly stated that he is not shooting another movie with his brother. Varun says that there is no truth at all to this.
Varun Dhawan had said in July 2018 that he is not in the next film by his brother. He is doing it with a completely different cast. The actor also added that he wasn’t in his first movie (Desi Boyz), and he has just made one movie with him. They will work together again soon but not in the next movie.
Further investigation revealed that the next film by Rohit Dhawan will most likely be a two-hero film with Salman Khan.
