MUMBAI: Here we are back with another update on Swastik Production’s new mythological show titled Devi which will air on Dangal TV.
The show will revolve around Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva and we broke the news about actress Rati Pandey depicting the role of Parvati while Tarun Khanna will play Lord Shiva.
Now, the latest we have heard that actors Kanan Malhotra, who has been part of shows like Suryaputra Karn, Mahakali- Anth hi Aarambh hai, Ram Siya Ke Luv Kush and Kunal Bakshi who has featured in shows like Shani, RadhaKrishn and Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran, has been roped in for the show.
According to our sources, Kanan will play the role of Lord Vishnu and Kunal as Indradev.
Kanan confirmed the news and shared, “This is 2nd time that I am depicting the role of Vishnu on TV. I was finalized for the show on 8 January which happens to be my birthday. I consider this project as my birthday gift.”
Kunal remained unavailable for a comment.
