Amit bags a BAG show

He's been on the telly scene since the Doordarshan days where he featured in Shanti. After rising to fame with Star Plus' popular serial Kora Kaagaz, Amit Behl has, once again, become a regular feature on DD, with Apne Mere Apne and now has also taken up BAG Films' serial, Woh Huye Na Humare (also on DD), where he plays a rich business man. The show also stars Arun Govil, Sudhir Dalvi, Rajiv Kumar and Meghna Malik. "The story revolves around me, who meets his wife and daughter after a gap of fifteen years. My character comes to terms with the reality that his own daughter is working in his firm, and hence he tries to help her out finaicially. I am shown in the flash back portions as well as in the present tracks, wherein I graduate from being a simple middle-class person to an affluent business man," says Amit who has his hands full with Mamta on Zee and Dinesh Thakur's play, Topi Shukla. The actor has already starting shooting for Woh Huye.....and his first appearance on this prime time daily has hit the air.
