MUMBAI: The New Year hasn't turned out to be a happy one for a few television celebrities. 

We recently reported about actress Sana Sayyad losing her uncle. Raqesh Bapat lost his father while actress Sejal Sharma and actor Kushal Punjabi committed suicide. And it is just the beggining of the year that we hear that another television celebrity is bereaved. 

Popular actress Meghna Malik lost her father yesterday. The funeral and the last rites will be conducted today. The reason for her father’s death is still unclear.

Meghna’s father Mr. Randhir Singh Malik was an IAS officer in the state of Haryana.

Meghna is renowned for her stint in Naa Aana Iss Desh Meri Laado and Veerpur Ki Mardaani: Laado 2.
