Hiten Tejwani is kicked that Pavitra Rishta is getting numbers during IPL

IPL season 5 is in full swing and we did an article on how it has taken a toll on the GECs. In week 15 of TAM ratings, GECs lost more than 50 points collectively, thanks to the onslaught of IPL fever. But there is one show which managed to hold on to the post and fair well on the TRP ladder. Yes, we are talking about Zee TV’s Pavitra Rishta (3.1 GRPs) produced by Balaji Telefilms.

But there is one show which managed to hold on to the post and fair well on the TRP ladder. Yes, we are talking about Zee TV’s Pavitra Rishta (3.1 GRPs) produced by Balaji Telefilms. And Hiten Tejwani, who plays the role of male lead Manav, is pretty excited about it. “I am happy and I don’t think there is any magic formula behind getting numbers during IPL,” shares Hiten with Tellychakkar.com. He continues, “Audiences for cricket and fiction are different and loyal. Viewers of any show will come back, even during cricket season, if the content is good. What I think has worked is that we have not played with the basic plot like others do in fear of IPL. There were no forced high points or unnecessary drama which I believe actually alienates the audience rather than endearing them.” Hiten, we are happy that your show is doing good. All the best!!!
