Nasir takes to direction!

Nasir has not been seen on television of late and that's because the actor is searching for the right role to come his way. But this hasn't stopped Nasir from experimenting with other things like theatre and event management. The actor has so far acted in plays and is now directing two plays and scripting the third one besides getting enough projects for his event management company which has been around for almost a year but is now getting its due.
The play titled Corporate Gandhi (produced by Abbu Malik) is a comedy revolving around the corporate world and will have actors from the theatre world. While the other comedy Ae Phasa (produced by Himanshu Sanghvi and Anand Mundra) is about a call girl and the casting for which is currently on while the third play is still in its scripting stage. "Ae Phasa should be ready soon. Its just that we are searching for the right girl to play a call girl and most of the girls shy away from taking up the role. Corporate Gandhi has only theatre people and it is about workers, corporate people and their bosses. The play has been staged across the city quite a few times and has got a decent response. The third play being scripted is also a comedy about the corporate world and the cast will be decided upon soon," says the witty actor who was last seen hosting shows and on Doordarshan's Haath Se Haath Mila produced by BBC. Not many people know that he started an event management company named after his father titled as Johny Walker entertainment. " I started the events company one year back but it wasn't getting good projects but of late I've started getting good projects related to song and dance events so that's keeping me busy," smiles a content Nasir. The actor has been a part of shows like Kesar, Kasautii , Kyunki…and Yeh Dil Chahe More. Here's hoping the actor's sinking career gets a lease of life soon enough.
