A pregnant and a homeless Sudha (Ashima Ballah) is depressed with her life and as such wants to commit suicide. It is here where I step in as her savior." She adds further, "Mausi is a strong headed lady who cares too hoots about emotions. She's very candid and even rude but has a heart of gold. She instills this fighting spirit in Sudha and urges her to face the challenges of life. Later, it is revealed that Mausi knew Sudha's mother." So, what brings Himani to this show, she replies, "After a long time, I'm getting to play a character that is very rustic in nature. It will have a tinge of Haryanvi to it. I've always enjoyed playing such roles." Surprisingly, her character has not been assigned any name. The veteran actress explains, "I myself am surprised as to why they didn't have a name for my character. I wanted to name this character as Sitara, I even imprinted it on my hand. However, my request wasn't accepted." Her request for a name may not have been accepted but let's hope that the viewers accept Himani's character.
