MUMBAI: Known for her bubbly persona and stellar performances, Sanya Malhotra has won the hearts of the audiences across the globe. From Dangal to Badhai Ho, Sanya has left viewers spellbound with her performance. While Sanya is a gifted actor and dancer, she recently admitted that she is extremely critical of herself and her work. Sanya was seen at the grand national finale of the Everyuth Times Fresh Face inter-collegian talent hunt in Mumbai.
Speaking about her work so far Sanya said, “I love what I do but I am extremely critical of my work and performance, whether it was Dangal or any of my other films. I am sometimes very hard on myself too but I have learnt over time to give myself a break, and that’s what I think is my fresh factor. Perseverance and the joy of performing, I love performing because I feel alive when I do and the most important part of performing is building a connection with the audience, that is very important to me.”
Speaking about the talented young participants, Sanya said, “I am so glad to be back here, I remember when I was a participant and felt like this was it, my big moment and when I didn’t win, I reminded myself of my dream to perform on stage and on camera. I am so glad that I persevered and that I pushed myself to do my best, that’s the advice I would like to give as well.”
Sanya Malhotra and Bollywood heartthrob Siddhant Chaturvedi were the judges at the recently concluded Everyuth Times Fresh Face. Siddhanth was the winner in the 2012 edition and express gratitude as well as joy for being a part of the current edition.
Speaking about the property, Bollywood’s MC Sher, i.e. Siddhanth said, “I remember when I was backstage at the finale in 2012, I was so nervous but excited and now my life has changed where I have the honour of being a judge for Times Fresh Face finale.
