Eijaz Khan is unwell but continues to shoot for Shubh Vivah

Eijaz Khan, who is currently seen as Amrit in UTV Productions’ Shubh Vivah (Sony Entertainment Television), has been unwell for the past few days, but given his professional nature, he continues to go through the daily routine of shoot. Talking to Tellychakkar.com about his bad health, Eijaz said, “Actually I had been to Nasik for a function, and this is when the problem started. I got back with a severe stomach infection followed by diarrhoea. One night my condition got so bad that I had to rush to the hospital and have the drip on. The next morning I reported directly from hospital to shoot. I cannot afford to take even a day’s off as we are shooting cut to cut, and have no bank whatsoever. My health got a bit better, when the condition relapsed. I had to go on a strong dose of antibiotics, and change my diet too.” He further added, “I used to have 20 boiled eggs a day and have stopped that now, as it was harsh on my stomach. I have also reduced the intake of grilled chicken breast and protein. Instead, I am having lot of cereals and liquids to keep my body cool.” At the work front, when asked on Amrit changing into a responsible husband in Shubh Vivah, Eijaz said, “You will see an interesting change in Amrit. He will start caring for his wife Saroj (Neha Janpandit). There will be a change in Saroj’s character too; she will start to speak her mind. Amrit who always felt that he deserves a lot more success as a man will understand his responsibilities better. He will be sweeter to Saroj and of course, love will soon blossom between the two.” Well, we wish Eijaz a speedy recovery, and we surely look forward to the steamy scenes in the Sony show…
