MUMBAI: With the rise in demand for content produced by OTT platforms, more and more players are entering the industry with plethora of original web content or web-series. ALTBalaji has been one of the leading OTT players in India with a variety of options to offer in original web-series category. It is a part of leading production house Balaji Telefilms owned by Ekta Kapoor.
After Class of 2020 and Mentalhood, now, it is all set to launch a new series titled Dr Donn, which will be produced by Zeeshan Quadri’s banner Friday 2 Friday Entertainers Pvt. Ltd.
Shweta Basu Prasad has been roped in for the project along with Nakul Sahdev. Shweta was recently seen in ZEE5’s Shukranu, and Nakul was recently seen in Gully Boy.
The project will be directed by Sangeeth Sivan.
