MUMBAI: The digital apps like Netflix and others are the new platforms for getting access to digital content in the form of web series and films. Of late, we see too many web series being made and streamed on various digital platforms of apps giving many talents the right chance to act and face camera. One such soul is the beauty and fashion professional called Richa Sinha who has been the part of two web series called Boss 2 and Abhay all released in 2019 allowing her carve her niche in this domain.
Richa has come a long way, right from being active on beauty pageants to being a successful model, she has bagged a couple of titles in this domain. These include winning the World supermodel South Asia in 2018 apart from being the third winner at the World Pageant held at Fiji where she represented India. She also went to China at Miss India Globalcity 2019 representing India. She has other similar titles as well, which made her entry into fashion modeling easy for her. She bagged several ads for top brands like Jabong and HP and even walked on ramps showcasing various outfits and designs for various brands.
Being also associated with theatres, she did a number of plays as she always wanted to experiment in the acting world. She did a short film based on urban romance called The Knot in 2017, while bagging her first debut movie My Body My Term. She is working hard to shape up her acting skills so that she can bag more projects in the future. Both her web series are likely to steam soon in the digital portals that would give her a decent exposure in the acting world. She has worked hard in these ventures and for her achievements and contribution she has even bagged Mumbai Achiever’s Award which she will get in April 2020.
