There is no spark in my character: Manish Goel

Manish Goel, who is currently playing the role of Rehaan in Meri Awaaz Ko Mil Gayi Roshni, seems to be losing interest in the role. He recently entered the show and got a huge positive response. So is he exiting? “I’m still the part of the show. It’s just that now there is nothing much of me left in it for me to do. Now when everything is fine with Rehaan, I feel there is nothing much for me to serve audiences. There is no spark left in my character,” says Manish. Explaining further, he says, “My entry was grand and different. Audience could never have imagined an arrogant hero who limps and is an alcoholic. I got a good response for my character but now Rehaan has left everything. He doesn’t drink, nor does he limp and his egotism has vanished. Now he respects Sudha (Ashima) and carries out his duties well.” Manish is waiting for some changes to happen in his character. “There is a big twit in the tale. I can’t reveal anything. Rehaan is becoming tedious and if it doesn’t shape up well then I’ll have to rethink. It could be that I may exit but it will be in a heroic manner. Lets see what happens further but right now I’m very much part of this tale,” he states. Well, let’s hope that Manish’s aawaaz reaches the ears of the producers and director of the show!
