MUMBAI: Versatile actor Paresh Rawal has kept us entertained all these years with his amazing performances. He has a massive fan base and has garnered a lot of love and appreciation throughout his career.
His noteworthy performances include Awara Paagal Deewana and Deewane Huye Paagal, in which he made us all ROFL with his brilliant comic timing.
The actor is also known for his intense roles in movies like Table No. 21, Dharam Sankat Mein, Sanju, and Uri.
Paresh Rawal’s son Aditya Rawal has now made his debut in a digital film titled Bamfaad. The trailer was loved by all the audiences, who were eagerly waiting for the premiere.
Rajan Chandel has co-written the story, screenplay, and dialogues with Hanzalah Shahid. The film, which is now streaming on ZEE5, has already drawn some attention because it is presented by Anurag Kashyap (who Chandel earlier assisted) and serves as a debut platform for the son of veteran actors Swaroop Sampat and Paresh Rawal. It features Shalini Pandey, Vijay Varma, Shivam Mishra, Jatin Sarna, Sana Amin Sheikh, Kokab Fareed, and Priyank Tiwari.
The story revolves around Nasir urf Naate played by Aditya and Neelam played by Shalini. They love each other very much and can do anything for their love. The story also focuses on the friendship angle between Naate and Zahid, played by Jatin Sarna, and how the situation changes for all of them when bad guy Jigar Bhai, played by Vijay Verma, makes an entry in their lives.
The short-tempered Naate holds his own way in Dabanng style and can go to any extent for his love for Neelam.
Bamfaad, which means the blast or ''dhamaka has a dramatic opening and grabs the attention of the audience right from the first scene. But as the movie goes ahead, the plot becomes very predictable.
The screenplay is very strong and keeps you glued to your seats till the end. The background music supports the movie well, effectively increasing the tension as per the situation.
The dialogues are strong, and the punch lines given to the actor and the villain are brilliant.
Talking about the negatives , the 1-hour-41-minute movie has an abrupt end and leaves the audience confused. Moreover, detailed characterisation of the characters is lacking. They never progress really.
But in spite of all these points, the movie is a must-watch for its fresh acting and gripping screenplay.
The best thing about Bamfaad is Aditya Rawal, who shows great potential.
