MUMBAI: Short films in India have finally come of age. Today, some of the most acclaimed directors and actors are working together to release short-length films with lower budgets and are creating an impact bigger than that on the 70-mm screen.
With the increasing usage of the internet, the digital platform and short films are getting more importance lately because of their effective storytelling in a short span and in a fraction of the usual budget.
Recently, we have seen Bollywood actress Kajol in her short film Devi, which was loved by the audience.
Now, writer-director Gauri Daswani is all set to launch a content-driven project titled Savah: So Be It.

The short film is based on the life of a girl who wants to get married but faces difficulties in her life and how she overcomes all the hurdles that come her way.
It features Shriya Pilgaonkar, Shilpa Tulaskar, and Rajit Kapoor. Now, we have information on the complete star cast. It will star Meher Acharia Dhar, Anant Joshi, and Apurva Kulkarni in the lead roles.
