Pooja Bose to play lead in Vikram Bhatt's Star Plus suspense thriller

In a desperate move to climb up the TRP ladder, Star Plus has now roped in producer Vikram Bhatt to produce a suspense thriller for them. A murder mystery, according to sources, stars Pooja Bose and Aham Sharma in the lead along with seasoned names like Rasik Dave, Lubna Salim and Murli Sharma. A source informs, "Vikram Bhatt's ASA Productions has earlier produced a series titled Shauhrat Nafrat aur Showbiz for Sony Entertainment Television and is currently co-producing Dance India Dance 2 with cricketer Harbhajan Singh. The Star Plus show will be a suspense thriller of 52 episodes. Pooja Bose who was last seen in Balaji Telefilms' Tujh Sang Preet Lagayi Sajana and Aham Sharma from Chand Ke Paar Chalo will play the protagonists. Other actors on board are Lubna Salim, Rasik Dave, Murli Sharma, Saahil Anand and Pooja Verma." Talking about the concept of the show, the source says, "The show is set against a Gujarati backdrop and is about three Gujarati families. A murder takes place in one of the families and how the two protagonists will unmask the murderer. The production house is yet to finalise the title which may launch in April." Bose confirmed she is playing the lead in the show but disconnected the call when asked for the details. All attempts to reach Vikram Bhatt were futile.
