Ashutosh Kaushik fined for drunk driving

A few days ago, it was actor Avinash Wadhwan who was caught for drunk driving and now it is Bigg Boss 2 winner Ashutosh Kaushik who’s violated traffic laws. A drunk Kaushik was riding a bike when he was caught by the traffic police on Friday (12 June) night as he tried to sneak away when they intercepted him at JB Nagar, Andheri (East). He was then taken to Andheri East police station where he was booked under three counts – drunk driving, driving without license and driving without helmet. He was released after paying a fine of Rs. 3000. Senior inspector (airport traffic division) N.B.Patil has reportedly stated that Kaushik first tried to flee but then stopped his bike a distance away. He also was reluctant to take the breath analyser test. Strangely, in such a situation Kaushik called an electronic journalist friend to bail him out. The journalist friend landed with his camera. According to this scribe, Kaushik was very rude and was told to calm down. Kaushik was on his way from his 4 Bungalows residence to drop a friend at Sakinaka.
