She publically refuses to accept that her Sony show Shubh Vivah (Sony Entertainment Television) is about to go off air. “I have heard many rumours, but till my production house (UTV) confirms, I will continue to keep faith. We all are working very hard and are hoping that the numbers will rise post IPL and our ratings have even gone up by 0.1 TVR this week though that is nothing much to talk about.”

Vinny Arora is quite a smart girl. She publically refuses to accept that her Sony show Shubh Vivah (Sony Entertainment Television) is about to go off air. “I have heard many rumours, but till my production house (UTV) confirms, I will continue to keep faith. We all are working very hard and are hoping that the numbers will rise post IPL and our ratings have even gone up by 0.1 TVR this week though that is nothing much to talk about.” She also smartly refused to get into blaming any particular reason, including time slot, for the bad numbers, “I don’t think it would be right to zero in on any one factor. The truth is that we are still wondering what went wrong. Having said that I am only an actor and I don’t really pay much attention to ratings. As I can only do my part to the best of my ability, while other creative calls are not in my hand anyways.” When asked as to what positives she would take home from Shubh Vivah, she answered, “I got a very good character Neelu. I have really enjoyed playing someone who is always ready to help others out. It is really important to like what you are doing and I look forward to come and shoot on the sets every day. It will be a big disappointment for all if it ends whenever it does.” Vinny, whose debut show was Athvan Vachan, also has made very good friends on the sets, “We all four girls (Krutika Gaikwad, Neha Janpandit, Neha Narang and me) get along like a house on fire. I am the most closest to Neha, who plays Meenu. Our gang gets together and we bring the whole set down.” And do you gals get into the normal girly bitching sessions, “Well, we don’t back bitch about ourselves, but we do talk about others (smiles). Nowadays, we are doing scenes where everybody including the guys like Vinay Rohrra is present, so that is also enjoyable.” Vinny, keep the spirit alive!!!
