Tellychakkar.com has been constantly reporting about 4 Lions Films’ next on Star Plus, Emergency Task Force. The latest we bring to you is the technical aspect of this show. If sources are to be believed then the production house has roped in some Bollywood technicians to be part of their larger than life project. The show has gone on floors from 26 May 2012 wherein the makers are using CineAlta camera. The camera is usually used to shoot movies. And that is not it...we have also learned that the serial will also have lot of outdoor action sequences. Director of Emergency...Gorky shares, “We always wanted to push the envelope in terms of what better we could achieve with people and technique. Using the same kind of format gets redundant and boring. We believe in setting new challengers for ourselves.” Talking more about CineAlta camera, he says, “It is not an easy camera to use. I have been trying to incorporate it in my TV shows for quite some time now, but till now it could not have been possible. But now I am finally using it. In CineAlta one has to change the lenses every time the shot changes from mid to close-up or otherwise. In a usual camera one can work by simply zooming in and out. So I am happy and scared at the same time. If things don’t work, I might change the camera but I just hope for the best.” Furthermore, Guru Bachchan is the action director and Tribhuvan Babu is the cinematographer for the project. “I worked as an associate director for the movie Dil Hain Tumhara. Tribhuvan was also working in the same film as the assistant cinematographer. This was almost ten years back. Recently when I met him I felt that he can add a new charm to the show. Hence he was roped in as the cinematographer,” Gorky went on to state. And what about Guru? “Guru and I worked together in Karan Arjun. He has also been a part of other film projects. Furthermore, he has been the action director for most of our shows like, Humse Hai Life and Suvreen Guggal. He is very nice and I am sure that he will do a great job this time also.” We also spoke to the producer of the show Gul Khan and she said, “We are trying to make this show look like a film. So let’s see how things go.” The show’s pilot will be shot over a period of ten days in Goa. And in most probability, it will go on-air by end of July or first week of August 2012.
