Aasmaan Se Aage to wrap up in July...

Aasmaan Se Aage, the unique show on Life OK, produced by Sagar Arts and 72 Degrees Northe was launched with a lot of promise, and had got a good response from the industry for being different in concept. However, it seems like the makers will not get the time and support of the channel to show something different to the audience.
The inside news is that the channel has decided to wrap up the show. They have given the makers a period of one month to end the proceedings. We hear that Aasman Se Aage will be ending on 13 July 2012. And the reason provided by the channel is that they are changing their programming line-up and did not wish to retain Aasman…. When contacted, producer Nilanjana Purkayasstha confirmed the news and said, “Yes, it is true that Aasman Se Aage is going off air in a month’s time.” We get to understand that the entire cast and crew of the show are very disappointed with the sudden development. Our readers would remember that Apurva Agnihotri in his recent interview with Tellychakkar.com (19 May 2012) had stated that the team of Aasman Se Aage believed that “the show would be #1 by July.” Guess it was destined to happen this way!!
