Sony TV acquires rights of Sumit Sambhal Lega; to air from 25 May!

MUMBAI: Another popular show is set to return on TV screens to make our quarantine special!

Star Plus’ famous sitcom Sumit Sambhal Lega that first premiered on 31 August 2015 on the Star Plus will now return on Sony Entertainment Television.

According to our sources, Sony TV has acquired rights of the show from Star Plus. The re-run episodes will be aired from 25 May at 10PM on Sony TV.

Sumit Sambhal Lega is the Hindi adaptation of Warner Bros sitcom series Everybody Loves Raymond. The Hindi version was produced by DJ's a Creative Unit featuring Namit Das in the lead role as Sumit opposite actress Manasi Parekh who played the role of Maya. The show also featured actors namely Bharati Achrekar, Satish Kaushik, Vikram Kochhar, Saniya Touqeer, Vindhya Tiwary amongst others.
