He won the Best Writer Award for Balaji Telefilms’ Bade Acche Lagte Hain (Sony Entertainment Television). “I was a banker initially but writing was always my passion. I am glad that I could make a profession out of it. I have written for many shows apart from BALH like Kumkum, Kehta Hai Dil, Sanjivani, Laagi Tujhse Lagan, Ladies Special and many more,” shared Jayesh with Tellychakkar.com. Furthermore, he also said that audiences play a vital role in making a script successful. “I have been turning and twisting the tracks as per the TRPs and I love the response and feedback that we receive. Working for Bade Acche is really good as everyone is very co-operative. Ekta (Kapoor of Balaji Telefilms) does a wonderful job as she truly has a sense of what will work and what not.” Currently, there is a much fuss about the leap in the show. What is the real deal? “Leap was there in the script from day one. Few things did change. Ekta knew how Bade Acche would progress. She is absolutely gem of a producer to work with. For any writer the work gets half done when the producer understands what a writer wants and the how the plot should unfold. Moving on, my wife and sister are my biggest critics and it’s easier for me to please the viewers but not them. They always comment and guide me as to how the story should flow,” ended Jayesh.
