MUMBAI: On the occasion of Eid, Colors presents #DilMilJaayein, a digital film uniting the hearts of the nation into one heartbeat.
India with the rest of the world is in a lockdown. Like every responsible citizen, no one will step out and unite in a gathering this Eid. The streets of the nation will not bustle with everyone hugging and wishing each other “Eid Mubarak”. This film has been conceptualised by Leo Burnett and showcases prominent celebrities such as Bharti Singh, Jigyasa Singh, Puneet Chouksey, Tushar Kalia, Riya Shukla, Avinesh Rekhi, Adaa Khan, Rashmi Desai and Nimrit Kaur from Colors.

The message that this film gives out to everyone is that the spirit of Eid is not just about going out and meeting people. It is much more meaningful than that. It is about embracing each other with love, connecting with each other’s hearts, putting others before oneself in prayers, being there for each other, holding humanity and positivity above all. Every line in the film is a wish, a prayer, a message about these very specialities of Eid that culminate into the auspiciousness of the occasion. The film brings everyone together and forms a chain so that the happiness of the festival can be passed on for everyone to embrace. And so that the shine within people’s hearts can be reflected on the Eid moon and it can glow with the same warmth as it is within everyone.
#DilMilJaayein beckons everyone to celebrate Eid in a never-done-before way and let the embrace of the heart replace the traditional one for this year.
