Shivangi Joshi sends financial help to co-star Rajesh Kareer

Shivangi Joshi has come out in support of Rajesh Kareer, who once played her father in Begusarai.

MUMBAI: According to a leading entertainment portal, popular actress Shivangi Joshi has sent financial help to co-star Rajesh Kareer

Currently, like many other actors, Rajesh Kareer, who once played Shivangi Joshi's father in Begusarai, is also going through a downfall, because of which he made a video seeking financial help to return to his hometown in Punjab.

Shivangi Joshi who is currently in Dehradun contacted him and immediately transferred rupees 10 thousand to his account. Confirming the news to SpotboyE, Rajesh Kareer said, "I am really happy with her gesture. We were not so close to each other on the set but despite that she came ahead to help me in this crisis, it means a lot." 

He also added, "Not just Shivangi but many have contacted me since yesterday and transferred some amount in my account." 

Rajesh Kareer, who has also worked in films like Mangal Pandey and John Day has been out of work since a year now and after the lockdown, livelihood became difficult for him in Mumbai. The actor in his video asked people to support him with 200-300 rupees so that he can go back to his home town Punjab with wife and a 11-year-old son and can start some small business.
