MUMBAI: When you think of mischief, when you think of laughter and joy through shows – one automatically tends to tune into Hungama TV. And one the recent reasons for kids having a blast with the channel is The Hagemaru Show. It’s the hilarious story about this unique Japanese family that finds funny ways to save a penny and kids have been absolutely loving the story, characters and the way Hungama TV has been representing the show
Here’s why –
1. The dubbing
While the story and the characters definitely are key, it is the dubbing that brings a great sense of belonging and identity. The Hagemaru Show has been transcribed in such a unqiue way that all the characters, the situations, the humour and the dialogues seem more relatable and make them more entertaining for the audiences.
2. The quirky character – Hagemaru is not like your usual boy
Hagemaru Hageda comes from a middle-class family; he has a very unique sense of humor. A class 4th student who is equally mischievous and quirky. His solutions to every situation are very unusual and are often weirdly funny. And that’s what makes him a favourite among kids.
3. Relatable yet hilarious situations
The situations the Hageda family go through are extremely relatable. For instance: buying extra sized clothes for Hagemaru, being the first one to buy all the ‘Buy one get one free’ products. These are relatable situations yet put in a very hilarious context that makes the show entertaining.
4. The relationship between Hagemaru and his dog Pesu
The bond that Hagemaru and his pet share is very unique. Pesu just like any other pet, helps him out of situations and always accompanies him around. It is through Pesu that we get insights of the Hageda family.
5. The unique format of the show
The format adds to the uniqueness of the show. Each episode revolves around Hagemaru's life, his friends and favourite teacher Miss Sakura. But in the middle of each episode, top ten best stories are shown. This format makes every episode more interesting and keeps the audience entertained throughout.
