Namit Das on Aarya and working with Sushmita Sen

MUMBAI: Sushmita Sen is back. She will be seen in action thriller Aarya on Disney+Hotstar. The trailer of the series has received rave reviews. The series also features Chandrachur Singh, Sikander Kher, and Namit Das.

Namit has delivered amazing performances in Bollywood movies like Ghanchakkar, Wake Up Sid, and Pataakha. He is all set to show his magic in this series.

Team TellyChakkar got a chance to speak with the actor. He revealed that he is playing is a badass character named Jawahar. He adds that he has never done a role like this before and that it was very challenging to play the role of Jawahar.

He also shared that when he got the role, he was skeptical and asked the makers whether he could pull it off. It was Ram Madhvani who trusted him and said that he could do justice to it.

On working with Sushmita Sen, the actor said that it was fabulous working with fine talent like her. He was really happy to be a part of the project that marks her comeback and her digital debut.

Aarya is directed by Ram Madhvani and is all set for its premier on June 19 on Disney+ Hotstar.
