Sushant Singh Rajput death: Rhea Chakraborty leaves police station after 11 hours of interrogation

MUMBAI: It was reported that all those who had been in contact with Sushant Singh Rajput over the last ten days leading up to his suicide, would be summoned by the Mumbai Police. Rhea Chakraborty reached Bandra Police Station yesterday to record her statement for Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case. It was almost at about 11:30 AM that news agency ANI had tweeted about the actress arriving at the police station. 11 hours later, she was seen leaving the police station with folded hands.

In the morning, pictures of Rhea entering the police station for her interrogation had surfaced on social media, and at about 5:30 pm, paparazzi clicks of her taking a break had emerged. Then, after about 11 hours later, she was spotted by the paparazzi, leaving the police station. In the pictures that have been shared, she can be seen with a facemask on, and exited with folded hands. Another picture also showed her dad accompanying her as they leave the police station together

A few days ago, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh had tweeted 'professional rivalry' angle will also be probed in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. “While the post mortem report says actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide by hanging himself, there are media reports that he allegedly suffered from clinical depression because of professional rivalry. Mumbai Police will probe this angle too,” read the tweet.
