MUMBAI: Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide has got everyone to talk about nepotism and favourism prevailing in the industry. Ever since his death, Salman Khan too is trending on social media as reportedly Sushant had a tiff with him. While Kai Po Che actor's fans are demanding to boycott nepotism and producers like Karan Johar and Aditya Chopra, Salman Khan too is on the list. Now, singer Sonu Nigam V-Logged to bring light upon the sad state of the music industry. Talking about how aspiring newcomers are not given a chance to grow, he pointed out at two 'mafias' ruling the music industry.

Sonu spoke about an actor who is currently being slammed because of Sushant's suicide and shared that in the past, the actor used his power to get songs sung by him dubbed. He also mentioned Arijit Singh's name. Sonu said, "An actor, the one at whom everybody is pointing fingers these days, has done this with me, saying I should not be made to sing, the same actor has done this with Arijit Singh also. What is this? How can you use your power like that?"
This reminds us of the public apology that Arijit Singh had extended to Salman Khan through Facebook. In the letter he wrote, Arijit Singh requested Salman to not remove a song sung by him from his film Sultan.
Sonu Nigam in his video also spoke about how his songs were dubbed and it was humiliating, "So many songs sung by me have been dubbed. This is humiliating. Isn't it? I don't ask for work. You call me, make me sing and then dub it! This is funny as hell because I have been working since 1989 in the music industry. If you can do this to me, then what do you do with the youngsters!"
In the end, he asked everyone to be kind or else there will be more cases of suicide from music industry soon.
